Mahabaleshwar

I got to do some traveling this February, and it was amazing! This post will show the beautiful mountainous town of Mahabaleshwar. We rented a car and driver to get there, which was the best way to ensure we saw everything we wanted to see. Tiny, winding roads in a small car while driving far too fast around bends was just the recipe to make all of us very car sick. But when we finally got there it was worth it. This town is known for its delicious strawberries and its spiteful monkeys. We all got to hike around some trail to see the beautiful scenery, see monkeys grab people’s belongings and drink their water bottles, ride a camel (who tried multiple times to eat our hair), shop at the bazaar, and eat amazing strawberries!

OH! and the following day we got to climb to a few temples which were perched on a hill. There was a beautiful view of Pune up there, and I could have watched the city forever. Enjoy the pictures of both trips which are posted below 🙂
